2019 we will live in more spacious homes
Varėna district municipality has set up a great goal to modernize Varėna care home.
Currently in Varėna foster home lives 25 persons. It has been decided to increase the number of services for 40 persons per year.
To achieve this goal (adapting school premises for social services), it was decided to reorganize the primary school premises (Z. Voronecko g. 2, Varėna).
In our new Varėna foster home will be 9 triple rooms, 6 double rooms and 1 single room for 40 people, as well as a mini kitchen for residents, occupancy rooms and lounge.
A total of about 1,000 m² of premises will be modernized. There also will be a big improvement for employees with work conditions. Everyone is very happy with such an improvement.

An interesting time-out
In order to promote the autonomy and employment of the residents of the care home we organize various interesting activities such as visiting museums, exhibitions and organizing trips to the most popular places of interest. We also do not forget about everyday activities that are very important to everyone.
